ABOUT THE SERVER
Welcome to The Line RP! We're built around amazing roleplay scenes, memorable character development, and a living San Andreas atmosphere. Development for The Line RP began in November of 2025, and since then the community has continued growing into a high standard experience for players who want more than throwaway bullshit.
Whether you want to patrol the highways with the San Andreas State Troopers, work the streets of Los Santos with LSPD, hold down the county with BCSO, or carve out your own future as a civilian, the server is built to support YOU from start to finish. Our goal is to create a city that feels active, connected, and fun to play in. Nothing less.
Law enforcement is built around realism, command structure, and strong presence, while civilian life is driven by jobs, business potential, public activity, and growth. Everything has room to become something bigger, and our goal is to do exactly that. At The Line RP, we keep standards high while still making room for creativity for you and your roleplay. We tell players; To us, your choices matter, your stories matter, and your actions shape the server.
No matter which side of the line you choose, the mission stays the same: create your destiny.

RULES
Click a category to view how rule violations are classified and enforced in The Line RP.
Misdemeanor Class C
Minor infraction
Definition: Low-impact violations that cause minimal disruption to roleplay.
Examples: Minor NITRP, accidental rule breaks, mic issues or brief failure to communicate, minor vehicle misuse, and first-time minor OOC behavior.
Punishment Range: Verbal warning, written warning, education, or direct RP correction.
This level is generally used for minor issues that can be corrected without major scene damage.
Misdemeanor Class B
Standard misdemeanor
Definition: Noticeable RP disruption without malicious intent.
Examples: Reckless driving that is non-lethal, minor FailRP, ignoring RP injuries, and improper weapon handling.
Punishment Range: Written warning, kick, or short timeout from 1 to 6 hours.
These violations move beyond simple mistakes and usually require direct moderation action.
Misdemeanor Class A
Serious misdemeanor
Definition: Serious violations that disrupt RP quality or player experience.
Examples: Disorderly conduct, refusal to RP, repeated Class B offenses, verbal harassment that is not hate-based, and minor staff non-compliance.
Punishment Range: Kick, 12 to 24 hour ban, or probation.
Repeated lower-level misconduct can escalate a player into this class even if each act seems smaller by itself.
Felony Class D
Minor felony
Definition: Major RP violations without extreme or clearly malicious intent.
Examples: Severe FailRP, metagaming, obstruction of justice, and negligent use of force.
Punishment Range: 12 to 48 hour ban and probation.
These actions have a clear negative effect on scenes and other players, so staff may respond firmly.
Felony Class C
Standard felony
Definition: High-impact violations that significantly damage RP scenarios.
Examples: Powergaming, combat logging, aggravated assault, repeated Felony Class D offenses, and major metagaming.
Punishment Range: 3 to 7 day ban, probation, and possible character wipe.
At this level, staff may treat the conduct as a pattern or serious breach rather than a one-time mistake.
Felony Class B
Severe felony
Definition: Intentional, abusive, or repeated behavior showing disregard for server rules.
Examples: Staff interference, targeted harassment, impersonating staff, and repeated Felony Class C offenses.
Punishment Range: 7 to 14 day ban, removal review, and long-term probation.
These cases are treated as major threats to order, fairness, and staff operations.
Felony Class A
Critical felony
Definition: Server-breaking behavior that threatens community integrity.
Examples: Cheating, modding, exploiting, hate speech, extreme harassment, doxxing, threats, and ban evasion.
Punishment: Permanent ban and immediate community removal.
These violations attack the safety, fairness, or stability of the server itself and are handled as critical offenses.
Light Signal Rules
Server control indicators
Green lights mean all RP stops.
Purple lights mean developers are working in the area. RP continues, but players must ignore the developers' existence and must not disturb them.
These indicators are used to protect active work, keep scenes organized, and avoid confusion during server operations.
Enforcement Notes
How punishments can change
Charges may be upgraded based on intent, repetition, or RP damage.
Multiple misdemeanors can escalate into felonies.
Staff judgment overrides rigid punishment ranges when necessary.
These guidelines provide structure, but protecting the server and player experience takes priority.

My name is Mike, and I’ve been playing FiveM for about two years now. During that time, I’ve been part of different communities and seen both the good and the bad when it comes to how servers are run. What pushed me to create TLRP was being part of a server where players didn’t have a voice and management didn’t care to listen. I knew I wanted to build something different. I wanted to create a place where the community actually matters, where feedback is heard, and where players help shape the server into something better. Along the way, I’ve met some truly great people I can honestly call friends, even family. At the end of the day, TLRP is about giving people a place to have fun, enjoy strong roleplay, and be part of a community that actually cares.
